The Team
We're continuing to build our Business Valuations team and are looking for highly regarded professionals to join us in Melbourne or Sydney! Our team is comprised of former Big Four professionals who provide the highest quality services to our clients. We partner with clients in various sectors, providing valuations for transactions, tax, financial reporting, insurance and various commercial purposes.
How You Will Contribute
As a valued member of the team you will –
* Deliver complex valuation projects, including the valuation of businesses, equity, and intangible assets, acting as a key day to day point of contact for client personnel.
* Suggest and interrogate robust valuation approaches for a range of businesses and intangible assets.
* Work with Managing Directors to develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks.
* Supervise and support the development of junior team members.
* Support Managing Directors to originate client work, preparing proposals, responses to clients and preparation of thought leadership and GTM materials.
* Assist with the development of best-in-class templates and ways of working, including the use of RPA / AI to efficiently deliver the highest quality work.
You'll be able to help build a collaborative, entrepreneurial and inclusive culture, while being rewarded for your contribution to growing both the Valuations business and A&M. Qualifications
We're looking for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who want to make a difference. You're an experienced Valuations professional, having ideally worked in a Big 4 environment. You'll also bring –
* A CA, CPA or CFA qualification (or working towards this)
* Experience with industry-standard research tools, such as CapitalIQ
* Experience with data analytics and visualisation software (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) preferred
* Experience and willingness to train and mentor junior members of the team
* A drive to succeed, alongside positive values and communication skills that will fit into our culture
* Ability to travel within the country (where practical and possible)
