The Opportunity
* Join as an experienced Design Engineer, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
* Take a pivotal role in delivering complex D&C mechanical services projects across NSW, with involvement on major national projects.
* Work across a significant healthcare development, high-specification data centres, and large-scale commercial developments, offering strong technical variety and challenge.
* Utilise engineering principles and software (Bluebeam, AutoCAD, CAMEL) to design, review, and supervise the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems that meet Australian standards and NCC regulations.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 4+ years' experience in mechanical services design and engineering within the HVAC space (either consultancy or contractor).
* A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation, and commissioning processes.
* Proven ability to design, document, and coordinate HVAC/mechanical systems for large, complex buildings, providing guidance to drafters.
* Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and provide technical support.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office.
