The successful candidate will play a key role in developing innovative Wi-Fi chips that enable the Internet of Things (IoT).
Main Responsibilities:
Design and integrate an IEEE 802.11ah PHY for Morse Micro's family of Wi-Fi chips.
Collaborate with digital, systems, and firmware teams to architect and verify the PHY, ensuring functional and performance goals are met.
Develop digital PHY architecture and DSP design suitable for 802.11 protocols on advanced low-power process nodes.
Conduct RTL design and simulation using contemporary languages and tools.
Evaluate the performance of pre-production silicon and take your design to high-volume mass production.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or Computer Science.
At least 3 years of experience as a PHY IC Design Engineer.
Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP), with emphasis on hardware implementation.
Proven experience developing multiple DSP blocks in complex SoCs.
Familiarity with the IEEE 802.11 PHY layer and 802.11ah standards.
Detailed knowledge of digital design fundamentals, including low power and multi-clock-domain design.
Hands-on experience with Cadence or Synopsys simulation suites.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work effectively within a team and across departments.
