Role Significance
The Industry Engagement Partner plays a vital role within the Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Success portfolio, managing scholarship funding for the Technology and Data Science streams of the Co-op Scholarship Program. The role involves promoting the program to industry, managing partnerships, securing sponsorships, and supporting professional development initiatives for students and sponsors.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain industry contacts and promote the Co-op programs.
* Understand industry needs to contribute to program review and expansion.
* Build partnerships with sponsors and support student placements and activities.
* Support selection processes and manage sponsor reports and reviews.
* Contribute to the enhancement of professional development workshops and events.
* Maintain accurate records and manage key processes like surveys and recruitment events.
Candidate Profile
We seek a proactive individual with excellent relationship-building skills, understanding of industry employment needs, and experience in graduate recruitment or managing interns. Experience in Technology or Data Science industries is highly regarded. Flexibility, organizational skills, and proficiency in report preparation are essential. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or Internship Management platforms is advantageous.
Additional Details
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with some evening events. Flexibility to work remotely is available, but onsite presence is required at least 3 days per week. Sponsorship is not provided; candidates must have full ongoing work rights.
