Brookwater Golf & Country Club is a premium golfing destination located near Brisbane, QLD. Our Par 72 Championship design measuring 6,469 meters is one of Greg Norman's most challenging course designs. Brookwater is Brisbane's #1 Corporate Golf Destination and home to Springfields fine dining restaurant – Butlers. Located 30 minutes from Brisbane Airport and the City and only 45 minutes from the Gold Coast. We offer a variety of conferencing spaces for groups or company outings of all sizes. Brookwater hosts over 130 corporate events and functions annually.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead, inspire and mentor a dynamic kitchen team.
* Work closely and seamlessly with Clubhouse Manager and front of house team
* Design and execute sophisticated, seasonal menus that reflect fine dining standards
* Create, develop and deliver various menus
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Help monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
* Collaborating effectively with restaurant and bar staff to ensure efficient operations
* Understanding and complying with OH&S standards and food safety requirements
* Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, and quality control
* Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
* Work closely with management to ensure the menu aligns with our brand vision and exceeds guest experience
* Drive consistency, innovation and excellence in every service
What you will need:
* Essential: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant
* A great attitude towards high food quality, presentation, and safety
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Be a mentor with passion for developing the skills of the kitchen team, leading by example and creating a harmonious work environment.
