Position: EMR Clinical Documentation – Parkville Electronic Medical Record team (Permanent Full-Time)
About the Role Permanent, full-time at 80 hours per fortnight within the Parkville EMR team. Responsibilities include design, build, testing, configuration, installation and support of EMR Clinical Documentation functionality.
Classification governed by Award 10 – Manager and Administrative Workers, Grade 8 Year 1 (AO81) to Grade 8 Year 5 (AO85). FTE base salary $121,274.40 to $133,842.80 per annum, plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
Configure, build, test and perform system maintenance tasks to ensure the EMR application is available, current and well maintained.
Perform analysis of workflows, enhancement requests and other technical issues associated with the EMR and develop functional and technical solutions that reflect an in-depth understanding of the user’s requirements.
Design and build approved EMR Clinical Documentation application optimisations to ensure that end users are effectively engaged in continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or relevant industry experience spanning 7+ years.
Proven leadership experience in a team environment and ability to work well as a senior team member.
Advanced skills in workflow review and design and proven ability to deliver solutions that meet the needs of end users.
Ability to achieve work deadlines, prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on gaining consensus, facilitation, and consultation.
Other Requirements
Current National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain.
Valid Working with Children Check.
