How you'll play your part in supporting the Northern Rivers business community
As the Regional Coordinator for Business NSW (Northern Rivers), you'll be the reliable right hand to the Regional Director and support the local Northern Rivers team in activities across administration, events, communication, membership, and advocacy. With your bright, personable demeanour and engaging personality, you'll work across a diverse set of duties and responsibilities.
* Liaise with key regional stakeholders including Parliamentary offices, Local Chambers of Commerce, Regional Department offices, Local Government, local media for meeting requests, Support the Regional Director and Strategic Partnerships Manager with account management invoicing, calls, member queries and general business support.
* Delivery of Regional Advisory Council Meetings and Local Chamber sessions, held quarterly including event logistics, agenda, meeting minutes and action items.
* Coordination of thought leadership events, round tables, workshops and meetings including events logistics, invitations, follow up and speaker management.
* Delivery of Regional Business Awards Program including events logistics, communications, speaker and judging liaison, application support, entertainment sourcing and budget management.
* Manage events budget to targets and work with Regional Director and Head Office according to expenditure guidelines. Use of CRM, Accounting system, events and branding tools to capture business data and deliver local communications.
* Answer office phone, manage office suppliers and conduct office related ordering, process expenses.
* Management of Social media content for the region across business platforms.

* Your communication style is warm and polished, and you have no problem talking to a diverse range of people.
* You're switched on, focused, and excellent at managing your time and actioning ad-hoc requests.
* Experience in basic Social Media coordination would be advantageous
* You're an excellent task manager and team player. You work collaboratively with others and know how to wrangle the occasional challenge with finesse.
* You're an excellent problem solver and active learner. You can look at a tricky issue, think of potential solutions on the spot and apply them.
* You're all about the details. You cross every T and dot every I, and you like to put a personal touch on things at the same time.
