Your role at St John of God Bunbury HospitalWe are currently seeking an Administration Assistant to provide administrative services and support to the Learning & Development Department and our Infection Control team.The role is offered on a Permanent Part Time basis, working 30.4 hours per week.The Position:Provide administrative support to Learning and Development and Infection Control team.Provide general administration support including use of generic office equipment such as photocopying, faxing, maintaining stationary and hospitality supplies, and maintaining filing systems.Manage communications including telephone, mail and emails. Prepare draft responses on request as required.Provide secretarial support to department meetings and ensure typing and distribution of minutes, correspondence and memos is completed in an accurate and timely manner.Setting up and facilitating meetings through MS Teams as well as facilitating Flu ClinicsAssist Coordinator with the processing of financial invoices in a timely manner.Manage the administrative component of student placements such as student requests, rostering, invoicing and placement organisation, in liaison with the Coordinator.Respond in a timely and appropriate manner to all customer enquiries.Build surveys, maintain training data and compile reports in a timely and accurate manner.Ensure regular reports are produced as required and one off reports as negotiated.Maintenance, accurate data entry and reporting within the learning management system and Infection Control platforms.Coordination of orientations, scheduling of meetings, calendaring and correspondenceAssistance with evidence for assessmentsCoordinating Staff Health – data entry, correspondence and pre-employmentYou will have previous experience in administrative assistant roles, well-developed written and verbal communication and customer service skills and have the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.To succeed you will have advanced word processing skills with experience and knowledge of a range of MS Office packages, MS Teams and data reporting systems with the ability to work independently, prioritising workload to achieve effective, efficient administrative services.Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.We can offer youSalary: $66,608 to $71,901 per annum (pro-rata), plus 11.5% superannuationPermanent Part-Time position, working up to 30.4 hours a week.Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:Novated leasingwork related expensesself-education andadditional superannuationA healthy work-life balance through flexible work options, additional purchased leave & well-being programsEmployee discount on St John of God Hospital & Medical Services and Private Health InsuranceEmployee support through our dedicated free Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Innovative Professional Development opportunitiesA welcoming and supportive cultureFor enquiries contact Sonia Lowe, Learning & Development Coordinator, on (08) 9722 1677Position may be filled before closing date if a suitable candidate is identifiedPlease note: If suitable candidates are identified, shortlisting and interviews may begin before the advertisement closes.Applications Close: 29 May 2025At St John of God Health Care, we celebrate diversity and warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.Our commitment is to create a safe and nurturing environment for all children and vulnerable individuals in our care and proactively take steps to protect them from abuse, ensuring their safety and well-being.Our inclusive culture fosters an environment that is respectful and secure, welcoming and accessible, and unified through our diverse community.
