Overview
Enrolled Nurse role at Queensland X-Ray in the Townsville region. This is a full time position in a supportive, fast-paced medical imaging environment where nursing skills are highly valued and continually developed. This is a Monday to Friday role, rostered between 7.6-hour shifts. Following successful completion of a 6-month probation period, Saturday shifts may be required, in line with service requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing clinical care and patient support across imaging and procedural services.
- While full training in Radiology Nursing will be provided, candidates with prior experience of two years or more in a hospital setting are highly regarded.
- Demonstrate initiative in managing workload, maintain clinical accuracy, and uphold safety standards, with effective documentation and patient-centred care.
- Remuneration: Classification aligned with Enrolled Nurse Level 3.2 – 3.5, dependent on experience.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (with medication administration).
- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in an acute hospital setting (desirable).
- Demonstrated IV cannulation skills (on-the-job training provided).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong time management.

- A genuine interest in medical imaging and a passion for service excellence.
