About The Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the team during your shift and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. You will be a hands-on leader who supports, coaches and motivates the team, while maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, safety and cleanliness.
This role is ideal for a confident team leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving performance through people.
Shift Supervisor Responsibilities
All Team Member and Team Member Trainer responsibilities, plus:
Lead and coordinate the team during your shiftSupervise team performance and provide coaching and feedbackEnsure all food, service and safety standards are consistently metHandle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional mannerSupport opening and closing procedures as requiredMonitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory controlAssist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliationsEnsure compliance with food safety, WHS and company policiesCommunicate effectively with management regarding shift performance
Shift Supervisor Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retailStrong leadership, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to train, coach and motivate team membersSound understanding of food safety, customer service and operational standardsAbility to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
