5 days per week with a child aged 11 years
Rate: $40.30 - $43.01 (L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)
Monday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Tuesday: 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Wednesday: 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Thursday: 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Friday: 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced educator to support a vibrant, curious young learner.
This child has a love for learning and a deep fascination with how the world works.
The child thrives when supported by calm, structured, and sensory-aware environments.
Fascinated by cars particularly Teslas and caravans as well as science experiments and mechanical toys, the child enjoys exploring how things work and perks from hands-on learning.
They are an enthusiastic user of their iPad for educational content and videos aligned with their interests, and they respond well to visual aids and technology-supported instruction.
The child loves imaginative games, exploration, and sensory-based play, especially involving water, running, bouncing, and fans.
They are especially fond of cats and frogs, which can be used as positive reinforcers or themes within learning content.
While the child experiences some speech delays, they communicate effectively and enjoy sharing in jokes and humorous interactions.
They require a calm, low-arousal environment and need personal space, as they can become dysregulated if overwhelmed or overstimulated. Gluten intake should be limited as per family guidance – this should be considered during snack or mealtimes.
This child is a joyful, thoughtful learner who brings light and laughter to those around them. With the right support, they will continue to flourish socially, emotionally, and academically.

It would be great if the Educator has experience with epilepsy and is knowledgeable about neurodiversity.
The family have a three week holiday booked in December you could possible start before Christmas or if you prefer in January.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate III, Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree in Primary education (and are registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state).
- Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
- Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
- Have a car & driver\'s licence
- Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
- Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example: visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
