Springwood Country Club is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Functions & Events Coordinator to help deliver great events for our members and guests.
This is a hands-on hospitality role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great service, and wants to build their experience in events and functions.
Flexible employment options are available – Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual – depending on the successful applicant.
About the Role
Working closely with the General Manager, you will assist in coordinating and delivering a range of events at the Club including weddings, wakes, golf days and community celebrations.
This role combines event planning with hands-on involvement during functions, helping ensure each event runs smoothly and guests have a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to event enquiries and assist with bookings
* Work with clients to organise the details of their event
* Coordinate event logistics and help ensure everything is prepared for the day
* Assist with the set-up and pack-down of functions
* Support and guide event staff during service when required
* Work closely with bar, catering and operations teams
* Help identify opportunities to grow and promote the Club's functions and events
About You
* Previous hospitality, events, or customer service experience preferred
* Well organised with strong attention to detail
* Friendly and confident communicating with clients and team members
* Willing to be hands-on and assist during busy events
* Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
* An interest in marketing or social media would be highly regarded, particularly in helping promote events and grow bookings
