Lecturer, Speech Pathology (TF) – La Trobe University
La Trobe University's Rural Health School invites applications for a Fixed Term (TF) Lecturer in Speech Pathology. The role is based at the Bendigo Campus and offers a teaching focused appointment that supports the delivery of world-class education and research.
Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and deliver a high-quality learning experience that engages students through tutorials, practical classes, workshops, field excursions, clinical sessions, and studio sessions.
Maintain awareness of innovations in teaching and learning, including online, blended, and face-to-face delivery, and apply suitable methods to develop professional practice skills and knowledge.
Participate in course-level curriculum design, development, and review, and coordinate subject delivery within Speech Pathology or related clinical practice.
Implement and evaluate innovative methods to deliver speech pathology related teaching content to develop entry-level speech pathologists.
Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent accreditation recognised by the university and the profession.
Demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development.
High level organisational skills with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up actions with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated clinical experience as a speech pathologist.
Clear understanding of the accreditation requirements and skill capabilities of an entry-level speech pathologist.
