We're seeking a confident and proactive Project/Quality Officer to support road crews based in Hay. This office-based role focuses on quality assurance, compliance, documentation, and safety oversight, with occasional site visits and overnight travel required.
What You'll Do
* Ensure works meet specifications and quality standards
* Perform a range of non-trade operational duties
* Complete quality documentation, audits, and compliance checks
* Monitor site safety, traffic control, and environmental requirements
* Verify materials, supplier documentation, and work activities
* Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
What You'll Bring
* Experience in road works, civil construction or similar industries
* Strong understanding of quality assurance and WHS requirements
* Solid MS Office and computer skills
* White Card & unrestricted Australian driver licence
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Work on Foot certificate (or willingness to obtain)
4-month contract (to end of June) with potential extension for the right candidate. This role is based from Hay but the candidate may be required to camp away on occasion. Accommodation will be provided, and allowances paid when camped away from the Depot.
