About the job
In this role, under the guidance of the CTS Coordinator or Senior CTS Officers you'll be responsible for investigating and designing infrastructure solutions and preparing estimates to SA Water's standards. With a strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction, you'll also help drive team success by sharing your skills and knowledge, solving problems, and actively improving the way we work.
About the Person
We're looking for someone who's passionate about delivering top-quality services across water, wastewater and recycled water systems. In this role, you'll be hands-on with designing, estimating and auditing with support from your immediate team to develop your skills and knowledge further. You'll work closely with internal teams and contractors to keep projects on track and cost-effective, while always putting customer needs first.

The Customer, Community and Engagement group drives customer outcomes by delivering exceptional experiences and tailored solutions that grow business, revenue, and the state economy, while actively engaging with communities, and collecting valuable feedback.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
* Provide timely and accurate investigation, design, estimating and auditing services as required under the guidance of the CTS Coordinator or Senior CTS Officers.
* Prepare construction estimates based on Schedule of Rates for water, wastewater and recycled water connections and extensions, fire-services and alterations under the guidance of the CTS Coordinator or Senior CTS Officers.
* Assess applications in accordance with current SA Water policies and procedures.
* Ensure network infrastructure is designed to comply with SA Water Design Standards.
* Contribute into operational issues with internal groups (Asset Management, Adelaide Metro Service Delivery Contract)
* Respond and react to customer enquires in a timely and professional manner.
Your success in this role will come from:
* Technical Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification or relevant on the job experience
* Knowledge of SA Water network infrastructure with demonstrated skills in water and wastewater infrastructure delivery
* Knowledge of materials, fittings, equipment, construction practices and operational procedures associated with network infrastructure
* Ability to prepare Construction Estimates based on Schedule of Rates costs for water and sewer connections and alterations
* White Card, or willing to attend mandatory training to obtain a White Card
* Extensive experience in the investigation, planning, design and auditing of connections
* Ability to develop effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
* Ability to identify, assess, evaluate and problem solve issues with customer's connections
