About the Opportunity
We are looking for a pro-active team player, to form part of a high-performance team working towards a world class Asset Management strategy. Not only will regular activities involve supporting the production function by assisting with breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance there are also several safety and continuous improvement projects you will be required to lead or participate in. Key responsibilities:
* Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawings, and specifications
* Performing maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment
* Conducting fault finding, testing, repair, and maintenance work on electrical equipment
* Build, program, integrate, service, maintain and operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
* Assist the Maintenance and Engineering Manager and Supervisor on new projects for products, plant, and related equipment
* Ensure execution of maintenance plan and be able to adjust when required based on Production requirements
About You
* Trade Electrical qualification/s
* At least 5 years' experience working as a professional Electrician within a fast paced manufacturing or processing facility
* Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings
* Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLC
* Excellent technical skills and knowledge of instrumentation
* High level of accuracy and good manual dexterity
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
