Head of Legal Practice
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee and grow a national division of legal practice. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience in property law with a principal practicing certificate (or ability to obtain one), proven track record in leading and mentoring high-performing legal teams, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and expertise in compliance, risk management, and governance.
* Lead and support a national team of lawyers, conveyancers, and managers.
* Provide strategic leadership aligned with governance and partnership requirements.
* Ensure practice compliance with regulatory standards, service level agreements, and internal policies.
* Champion innovation and continuous improvement in legal service delivery.
* Oversee internal audits, complaints resolution, and quality assurance frameworks.
* Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.
* Act as a key liaison with stakeholders, particularly real estate and financial partners.
* Supervise the development of staff and lead structured learning and development initiatives.
