About Your Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Leader to oversee financial matters for designated Bids & Projects, providing financial direction based on accurate information to manage risks and increase value.
This role is based in our Eagle Farm site with flexible work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Verify conditions for coming into force and ensure validation by Sales administration of order booking.
* Initialise projects, reviewing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), allocating total budget, and implementing management tools.
* Define sales and margin recognition method, validating sales, gross margin, and adjusted gross margin project accounting.
* Measure and analyse cost variances between actuals, forecasts, budget, and baselines.
* Re-evaluate position at end of project (Estimate at Completion) and carry out final work to limit risks after delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in Accounting member of professional accounting body.
* Strong experience in Finance function.
* Experience in Projects Controller position.
* Demonstrated experience in optimising business performance and processes.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication.
* Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
* Strong internal stakeholder management in a matrix organisation.
