New opportunities have arisen for a highly experienced Clinical Nurse to join the busy 31-bed Coronary Care Unit on a full-time permanent basis at a private hospital in Perth. ABOUT THE POSITION As the Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Delivering quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient care; Providing a standard of care according to the individual's level of experience and education, maintaining high-quality nursing care within a safe environment; Developing and utilising strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication; Working in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding the provision of care, promoting beneficial relationships. REQUIREMENTS Current Registration with AHPRA; Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, with the majority of that being in critical/coronary care; Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care; Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development; Post-graduate certificate in critical/coronary/cardiac nursing is essential to being successful, instead of qualifications, past experience will be considered along with willingness to enrol in a post-graduate program. Notably, the Angiography suite operates as a highly active unit, performing more than 4,120 coronary and vascular procedures each year, and its services continue to expand. The Cath Labs within this suite offer a wide range of specialized services, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with 3D mapping ablations, FFR and IVUS procedures, cardiac implantable devices, vascular interventions, and complex cases involving structural heart issues such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, and Mitral Valve prosthetic implantations. The hospital benefits from a dedicated and experienced team of nursing staff and radiographers who consistently provide top-quality care and service. Additionally, the hospital now boasts three brand-new, state-of-the-art Angiography suites located adjacent to a 41-bed coronary care unit. In conjunction with these three labs, there is also a Hybrid suite within the theatre complex, conveniently connected to the 10-bed Level 3 Intensive Care Unit.
