DG Engineering focus on supplying boutique, technical and specialised shutdown labour and equipment for the mining industry carrying out high end works in both mechanical, structural and project works for our clients.
About the role:
We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our execution team for FIFO roles ex Perth, and DIDO roles ex Karratha for ongoing work across the Pilbara. This technically challenging work will see you work on challenging and rewarding scopes of work, performing new installations and major componentry change outs on equipment across the mining industry including:
- Balance Machines - Stackers, Reclaimer Bucket Wheels, Ship Loaders, Conrods and Slew Drives.
- Fixed Plant Equipment - Pulleys and Gearboxes.
- Crushing and Screening Equipment - Gyratory's, Cones, Jaw and Sizers.
- Car Dumpers - Gravity Clamps and Trunnions.
- And other general material handling equipment.
Ideally you will start your journey with DG Engineering on a casual basis with the view of transitioning to full time. However, full-time opportunities are available for the right candidates!

Pre-requisites:
- Minimum 2 years as a Mechanical Fitter within the heavy mining Industry.
- Australian recognised trade certificate.
- Current and valid:
- Driver's licence.
- Work Licences (Working at Heights, Confined Space, High Risk EWP).
- Police clearance (or willing to obtain).
- Permanent resident within Western Australia
- Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical including regular drug and alcohol screenings.
