Role
We are looking for a Transport Manager to join our Service team at our Mulgrave Branch. Your typical working arrangement includes an early morning start and mid-afternoon finish. You will report to the Service Manager who oversees operations. The key focus areas are ensuring sufficient resources for daily route run completion, ensuring safety and managing recruitment and performance, and promoting a positive working culture for your team. This is a great team where individual and team development is encouraged.
Responsibilities
* Ensure sufficient resources for daily route run completion
* Manage safety, recruitment and performance of the transport team
* Lead and develop teams; promote a positive working culture
* Coordinate with the Service Manager to support operations at Mulgrave
Qualifications
* Current people manager or 2+ years managerial experience; experience with drivers is advantageous
* Fleet management experience is advantageous
* Valid driver's licence
