Exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant/ Project Support officer to join a State Government team
**Your new company**
Our client based in East Perth is looking for a Project Support Officer to join their team. Looking for someone to join the team for 3 months to Assist the Director, Major Capital Works and Capital Works Project Team by undertaking a broad range of coordination, administrative and project management support activities, including risk, compliance and quality improvement activities.
**Your new role**
- Provide proactive, responsive, and effective secretariat support
- Initiate and contribute to developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and procedures
- Coordinate the preparation of the agendas, papers, and other required documentation for the committee meetings
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to aid in the effective operation of the committee
- Contributes to the improvement of projects
- Initiates and ensures that corporate and governance policies, standards, and procedures
- Assist with project management, research, and the preparation of reports, briefing notes, memoranda, correspondence, and other written documents
- Any other duties required
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in a senior administrative support role, providing secretarial support for large, senior management meetings.
- Well-developed communication skills, including written and verbal.
- Experience in maintaining and developing project documentation including risk registers, action logs and performance reports.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise multiple activities, and work independently to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed information technology skills including the Microsoft Office Suite and project/procurement databases.
- Demonstrate research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
