About the Role
Our company seeks a dedicated Trainee Train Driver to fill this entry-level position.
This role offers the opportunity to work towards the completion of a Certificate IV in Train Driving while gaining hands-on industry experience and developing skills as a Qualified Train Driver.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Ensuring a commitment to safety and upholding the values of integrity, reliability, and inclusion.
* Collaborating with a Qualified Driver to perform Rail Safety Work in Train Operations.
* Attending regular safety meetings, training sessions, briefing sessions, and toolbox talks associated with safe and efficient train operations.
* Working towards achieving the required units of competency as part of the Certificate IV in Train Driving (TLI42622).
* Complying with procedures, work instructions, operating protocols, and rules to facilitate the delivery of safe and efficient train operations.
