In this role you'll
• Establish and lead a high-performing team to develop and deliver investment-ready business cases and evidence-based initiative briefs aligned to Transport for NSW strategy and customer experience goals.
• Define, activate and measure proof of concept trials to explore and validate innovative solutions that address genuine customer and business needs.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation, securing support, aligning priorities, and championing initiatives through complex governance forums.
• Drive business case assurance processes to ensure proposed initiatives are compliant, evidenced based, and ready for investment decision.
• Build an inclusive, collaborative team culture, mentoring members, building initiative development capability, and embedding a continuous improvement mindset across the organisation.
About you
You bring proven experience leading teams to develop and deliver strategic initiatives that create tangible customer and community outcomes. You are comfortable operating in complex environments, achieving the desired outcome while managing constraints, navigating governance frameworks, influencing senior stakeholders, and producing high quality, decision ready investment artefacts.
You have a strong track record of using data, insights and emerging trends to inform and shape evidence based business cases. Exposure to program and investment assurance will be highly regarded.
You can demonstrate experience establishing fit for purpose processes and ways of working that enable effective initiative development, while remaining aligned with NSW Government frameworks and Department of Customer Services (DCS) and Infrastructure NSW (INSW) assurance requirements. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is essential.
