About the role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Diploma Qualified to join our vibrant team at Giggles Early Learning Centre in Forster, NSW. As a Diploma Qualified, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners in a full-time capacity.
What you'll be doing
1. Implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
2. Observing, documenting, and assessing children's progress to inform future planning and implementation
3. Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community
4. Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
5. Participating in ongoing professional development to continuously improve your practice
6. Collaborating with the educational team to provide the best possible outcomes for children
What we're looking for
1. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
2. Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
4. A deep understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
5. A strong commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care
6. A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young children
