Duties Include
* Greeting clients when they enter the office
* Answering telephone and email enquiries, making appointments, and providing basic information about services and fees
* Setting up clients in our software system and downloading information from the ATO so it is ready for our tax specialists to meet with the client to prepare their return
* Collecting payments from clients, issuing receipts, and banking duties as required
* Following up with clients on outstanding documents needed so we can complete their tax return
* Assisting in keeping the office neat and tidy, including maintaining the appearance of the premises to H&R Block standards
What We Are Looking For
* Previous work experience in office administration
* Friendly people with strong customer service skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software products quickly
* Flexibility to work a variety of different shift times depending on local office needs
* Police Check clearance
* MyID access (https://www.myid.gov.au) and smart phone to enable you to log into ATO portal
This is a casual, seasonal position – hours may vary from full time to 2–3 shifts per week depending on your local office needs.
