About the role
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for the performance of the business unit. You'll oversee everything from sales and customer relationships to expenses, operations and staff management.
A strong background in foodservice, FMCG or an allied industry will set you up for success, along with a proven ability to lead teams, drive sales and keep operations running smoothly.
Your day will include
* Leading and motivating a team across sales, operations and admin
* Driving branch sales performance and delivering against growth targets
* Managing key customer relationships and identifying new opportunities
* Overseeing stock levels and purchasing in line with local needs
* Authorising expenses, rosters and wages to meet business objectives
* Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with WHS and HACCP
* Driving continuous improvement across systems, service and culture
About you
You're a commercially minded leader who can think strategically while also staying close to the action. You know what it takes to run a successful business unit and are driven to deliver strong results, empower your team and build long-term relationships with customers.
You'll bring
* Proven experience in foodservice, FMCG or a similar industry
* Strong background in sales and customer relationship management
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Solid understanding of WHS and HACCP practices
* The ability to make data‐led decisions and drive continuous improvement
* A hands‐on, supportive management style
