South Australian Business Chamber, the largest membership-based employer organisation supporting businesses through advocacy, advice and capability-building services, have engaged TESS Search Partners to appoint a WHS Trainer and Facilitator. Reporting to the Programs Manager, the WHS Consultant & Facilitator will deliver fee-for-service consulting, WHS audits, hazard and risk assessments and the development of policies, procedures and supporting documentation.
As the Chamber continues to expand its training and consulting programs, this role plays a vital part in strengthening WHS performance across South Australia by delivering practical guidance, contemporary education and tailored support to members and clients. You will design, review and facilitate public, workplace and online WHS training. A commercial mindset is important, with responsibility for identifying new opportunities, contributing to revenue growth and ensuring all engagement is accurately recorded through the CRM.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least three to five years' experience in a training environment and detailed knowledge of South Australian WHS legislation and standards. You will demonstrate experience developing and implementing WHS systems and training resources, strong capability in audits and risk management and confidence facilitating sessions for small and large groups. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40116 is essential, together with excellent communication skills, strong organisational discipline and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
