Key Responsibilities
* Operational Oversight: Direct and execute all Food & Beverage functions, systems, and standard operating procedures.
* Staff Development: Facilitate training for Bar and Front of House staff in areas including service delivery, SOPs, product knowledge, and responsible alcohol service.
* Financial Stewardship: Manage rostering, labor costs, budgeting, and achieve staff wage percentage targets.
* Beverage Excellence: Ensure correct beverage execution to meet cost percentage targets and continuously develop and improve the beverage menu.
* Inventory Management: Oversee stock receiving, storage, and control procedures.
* Financial Procedures: Manage accounts payable, adhering to company spending and ordering guidelines.
* Wine Service: Execute wine service and training as devised by the Sommelier.
* Standard Operating Procedures: Oversee the training and execution of all Food & Beverage related SOPs, including stock handling, opening and closing procedures, guest relations, and safety considerations.
* Team Collaboration: Liaise with the Operations Manager, Kitchen Team, and Sommelier to facilitate cooperation and generate materials for EDM.
* Guest Experience: Drive the highest standard of guest experience and maintain positive guest relations.
* Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of all bar equipment, ensuring correct training for all staff.
* Intellectual Property: Protect the intellectual property of the establishment and the venue.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a similar setting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and SOPs.
* Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
* Ability to develop and implement training programs.
