Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Analyst to join our team. As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, activity statements, and tax provision calculations for superannuation funds.
Main Responsibilities
* Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely tax returns, activity statements, and tax provision calculations for superannuation funds.
* Compliance Management: Ensure that all tax-related activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients and tax advisors.
Requirements
* Qualifications: 2-3 years' experience in tax, ideally with exposure to superannuation or custody. Solid understanding of tax law and regulatory frameworks affecting super funds.
* Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. CA/CPA qualification or close to completion and registered tax agent status.
* Technology: Confidence using Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new systems.
