The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on Production Planner to manage and optimise our factory production schedules across multiple lines. You'll ensure stock levels are maintained, orders are delivered on time, and efficiency targets are met. Your role will be critical in coordinating production, maintenance, logistics, and customer service to keep our operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
* Review orders to maximise DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time).
* Maintain finished goods stock levels within target ranges.
* Optimise production schedules for manufacturing factory.
* Identify production bottlenecks and critical paths.
* Manage production inventory and Made to order production inventory.
* Liaise with customer service to manage enquiries and order expectations.
* Assess quality issues and determine appropriate actions.
About you
* Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems advantageous.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach.
* Hands-on, driven to improve factory performance, and able to work under deadlines.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
