The purpose of this role is to provide team leadership in operationally managing and providing strategic direction in the delivery of pharmacy services.
The Role
This is an opportunity for a Pharmacist – Advanced (Team Leader Ambulatory and Operational Services) to join the Department of Health Queensland, where we are focused on providing world-class health care to people living in the region.
* Manage financial reporting, stocktakes, and budget compliance.
* Assist with timely PBS claim processing and coordination.
* Oversee dispensary and clinical pharmacy services in assigned areas.
* Support inventory, purchasing, and compliance for medication management.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will require:
* A tertiary degree in Pharmacy.
* AHPRA Registration.
* Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees.

We are a part of the Department of Health Queensland, located in Southport, and provide medication management services across the region, 7 days per week.
Our team consists of approximately 130 pharmacists and over 55 support staff, who work together to deliver high-quality health care services.
We have automated dispensing robots at each hospital campus, which facilitate dispensing, distribution, and inventory management activities.
