Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team in the post-anaesthetic care unit.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care across all stages of PACU recovery, ensuring patients receive safe, person-centred care.
Main Responsibilities
* Patient Care: Provide expert nursing care to patients recovering from anaesthesia and surgery, including monitoring, assessing, and managing post-anaesthetic and surgical patients.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with anaesthetists, surgeons, and allied health staff to ensure seamless patient care.
* Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, education, and evidence-based practice within the unit.
About You
* You will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and strong clinical skills in post-anaesthetic recovery and patient monitoring.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, you must be adaptable and committed to professional growth and reflective practice.
