Investment Associate
Are you passionate about investments and want a role that combines research and consulting? We are looking for an Associate to join our Defensive Assets team. This team provides investment advice and manager research across Fixed Income, Derivatives, Currencies and Private Equity.
Key responsibilities of role:
Actively support and contribute to the research and advisory activities of the Investment team, including to:
* Contribute to investment research to expand the firm’s knowledge and expertise, with particular focus on Fixed Income, Derivatives, Currencies and Private Equity
* Deliver client support by providing high quality and timely investment advisory support to a variety of clients
* Quantitative Research and Analytical work (e.g. performance calculations, portfolio analysis)
* Undertake Fund Manager research
* Continue the building of Frontier’s Investment market identity through meetings, conferences and research / publications.

Desirable skills:
* Tertiary qualified in a finance or closely related degree
* 1 -2 years’ work experience within demonstrated use of quantitative analysis in investment related work.
* Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint including spreadsheet modelling, use of python
* Investment or commercial mindset with strong research skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
