Clerical Officer
Department of Education, Western Australia – Permanent full‐time position commencing January 2026.
Overview
There are eight Education Regional Offices staffed by a Regional Director of Education, coordinators and support staff. The Clerical Officer assists schools and school networks in their region by providing general administrative support.
Responsibilities
* Undertake basic research and prepare correspondence, notices and other materials.
* Provide reception duties: greet visitors, answer the telephone, and respond to routine enquiries and requests for information.
* Operate and maintain office equipment, and monitor and order office consumables.
* Assist with travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodation.

Eligibility
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
* Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
