About the Client
Our Client is a leader in fire protection services, providing high-quality inspection, testing and minor repair solutions across a wide range of facilities. With a supportive team environment and consistent workflow, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Systems Tester looking for stability, variety and long-term career development.
What you will be doing
As a Fire Systems Tester you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Completing test runs in line with Australian Standards
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults
- Meeting customer expectations in a professional manner
- Accurately completing service dockets and documentation
- Complying with required response times for service and repairs
- Acting as the single point of contact for customers during inspections and minor repair work
- Maintaining accurate records for testing, inspections and repairs
- Producing clear technical reports outlining equipment operational status
- Working unsupervised and managing daily tasks effectively
What you will need
- To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- QBCC Licence Electrician or Fire Alarm Technician
- Minimum 2 years experience testing fire protection systems
- QLD Open Driver Licence
- Ability to work independently and communicate professionally
- Strong time management and attention to detail
