We are looking for reliable, principled and self-motivated individuals to join our free range farms in the Mt Barker region of Western Australia’s Great Southern.

We have sites in the Great Southern region with our brands including Mt Barker Chicken and our distribution network extends across Australasia.

About the Role

Reporting to the Farm Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for day to day farming activities including:
· Working with the Farm Manager to manage daily operations of the free range farm
· Daily care of chickens
· Being committed to continuous improvement in animal welfare, quality and productivity
· Adhering to relevant legislation and Group policies, principles and procedures
· Working with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities to create a safe workplace
· Championing animal welfare in everything you do
What We Need from You
· Experience working in the field of poultry livestock
· Able to work autonomously as well as in a diverse team
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail
· A passion for teamwork to achieve our commercial and ethical goals
