The role of a Supervisor in our Stewarding department is to oversee the daily operations, ensuring that all colleagues are working efficiently and effectively to provide an exceptional guest experience. This includes leading, teaching, coaching, and inspiring a team of up to 50 staff members, including stewards, van drivers, and equipment stockers.
A key aspect of this role is to ensure that all colleagues are following proper procedures and standards set by the department and the hotel. This involves conducting performance discussions, ensuring progressive corrective actions forms are completed correctly and on time, and promoting professional work habits.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can lead and develop their team to achieve excellence. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food and beverage, knowledge of Food and Beverage and Stewarding, and leadership experience. They will be physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand, and walk for the duration of the shift.
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $25.96 per hour.
