About the Role
The Quality Assurance Advisor plays a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems across our OOHC and NDIS services. This role supports the implementation of internal audits, policy review, practice improvement, and ongoing compliance with relevant standards.
You will report to the Head of Quality & Safeguarding and work closely with frontline teams, service leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure our services meet best practice expectations.
Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits of OOHC and NDIS services, with a focus on service quality, care documentation, and risk
Review policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure compliance and practical application
Identify areas of concern, assess non-compliance, and support teams to implement corrective actions
Provide clear, timely audit reports and support services to implement recommendations
Monitor changes in regulation and policy across child safety and NDIS sectors
Deliver staff coaching and guidance on quality systems, standards, and service expectations
Assist with accreditation processes and support continuous improvement activities
Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality, audit, or compliance role, ideally in OOHC, NDIS or community services
Working knowledge of relevant standards: NDIS Practice Standards, Child Safe Standards, Reportable Conduct
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Confident communicator with the ability to support and guide staff
Proficiency in using audit tools and MS Office
Qualifications in human services, quality management, or related field
Quality auditing certification or experience supporting accreditation is desirable

Remuneration aligned with SCHADS Level 4–5, based on qualifications and demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, or auditing.
