This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with oversight of team management, store operations, compliance, and financial performance. You'll be supported by an experienced head office team and receive regular on-site guidance from an Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and motivate a team to consistently deliver excellent customer service
Oversee staff recruitment, development, and performance management
Ensure compliance with WHS, safety, and food handling regulations
Manage stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and coordinate deliveries
Maintain POS accuracy, oversee cash handling and store finances
Resolve customer enquiries and concerns with professionalism
Rostering, shift coverage, and team scheduling
Work closely with the Operations Manager on audits, risk management, and site improvements
Ensure the store remains clean, well-presented, and operationally efficient
What We're Looking For
Experience in retail, fuel, hospitality, or fast-food management
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
A proactive and hands-on management style
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexibly, including some public holidays as required
Organised, results-driven, and committed to high standards
