Our client is a leading Defence consultancy with a national presence and will be seeking multiple Modelling and Simulation Engineers for upcoming contract opportunities, across the Maritime and Aerospace sectors.
These roles will involve Systems Modelling, Software Modelling and Simulation, and Verification & Validation (V&V).
Candidates with Defence experience and backgrounds in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering are encouraged to apply. The required years of experience are flexible, and we welcome applications from both mid-level and senior professionals.
These positions are expected to start in February depending on candidate availability and processing timelines.
Responsibilities
* Integrate MATLAB/Simulink models into custom simulation environments (C++) and test integration outcomes.
* Review simulation results, providing guidance and support tools.
* Design and conduct tests to validate individual models and the overall system.
* Create detailed documentation, including report writing and presenting results.
* Develop new models and execute existing ones using various software tools.
* Plan, integrate, and test the model integration process, including defining steps and documenting results.
Requirements
* Experience working on Defence platform systems or related applications.
* Strong background in modelling and simulation, software development, or numerical analysis.
* Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and modern simulation tools.
* Understanding of Radar and Electromagnetic technologies.
* Experience with CUDA.
* Proficient in both Windows and Linux development environments.
* NV1 security clearance or higher.
