Wangarang is a purpose‐driven organisation providing supported employment, training, and life‐skill development to people with disability in Orange, NSW. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a strategic and people‐centred Executive Manager, Operations to join our Executive Leadership Team.
This newly created role, established through a strategic restructure, offers a rare opportunity to lead diverse operational teams, drive service excellence, strengthen commercial performance, and contribute to the future direction of a respected community organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Manager, Operations provides high‐level leadership across all participant‐facing programs and supported-employee teams. You will oversee operations across multiple business units—including Production Services, Return & Earn, Government Cleaning, and Support Services—ensuring quality, efficiency, safety, and an exceptional customer experience.
You will also play a key role in organisational growth, supporting business development initiatives, partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
This role is both strategic and hands‐on, ideal for a leader who is passionate about inclusion, values‐based leadership, and operational excellence.

About You
* Demonstrated experience leading operations across multi‐disciplinary teams.
* Experience in community services or person‐centred environments.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, performance, and continuous improvement.
* Empathy, respect, and commitment to the rights and inclusion of people with disability.
Highly Desirable
* Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and deep experience in disability service delivery.
* Experience in business development and/or commercial client account management.
* Experience in facilities, asset management, or capital works.
* Understanding of labour market trends and barriers for jobseekers with disability.
Mandatory Requirements

* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check
Desirable Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in business, management or community services
