We are looking for a Finance Officer (Flexible Part-Time options available) to join our caring and dynamic office team in Torrensville.

The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the business, including accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting. You will work closely with management and internal teams to ensure financial transactions are completed correctly and on time, supporting the organisation to deliver high-quality services to our customers.

For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Duties and responsibilities include:

* Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that Just Better Care's finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner

* Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger.

* Management of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Financial management of home care packages
* Maintenance of financial files and records
* Completion of all statutory reporting requirements
* Preparation of BAS.
* Payroll Tax reconciliation.
* Support in the preparation of budgets/forecasts and margin analysis
* Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures in accordance with Just Better Care's Business
* Operating System

* Perform other duties as required.

About you:

Essential

* Current and clear Criminal Record Check
* Possess relevant financial qualification or equivalent knowledge.
* Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and standards
* Experience in working in a small finance environment
* Sound computer skills –MYOB / integrated financial software applications & Microsoft Office
* Well developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
* Effective organisational skills
* Experience in managing accounts receivables
* Experience with account and general ledger reconciliations.
* Diligent with strong attention to detail
* Ability to exercise sound judgement and tact, and capacity to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team exercising initiative, innovative pro
