Overview
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who thrives on building strong relationships, spotting opportunities, and seeing projects through from first conversation to successful delivery. This role contributes to getting ground-breaking medicines into clinical trials and ultimately to the people who need them.
What you'll be doing
* Partnering with the CEO to explore new opportunities and bring in exciting projects
* Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients across the pharmaceutical and biotech space
* Preparing and negotiating commercial agreements that set projects up for success
* Keeping the sales pipeline running smoothly and ensuring CRM records are accurate and up to date
* Representing the business at conferences and networking events, making valuable industry connections
* Working closely with the operations team so new projects are handed over seamlessly
What we're looking for
* At least five years' experience in business development within a CDMO, pharmaceutical or clinical trials setting
* Strategic thinker who is also happy to roll up their sleeves when needed
* Strong knowledge of GMP and GCP standards
* An excellent communicator who can connect with people at all levels
* A degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Business or a related field (postgrad study highly regarded but not essential)
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in getting things done
