First aid trainer (brisbane)

First aid training forms an integral part of this work, by skilling people in the community with first aid skills which could save a life.

The First Aid Trainer is responsible for the delivery and assessment of first aid courses on behalf of Australian Red Cross in accordance with required quality and compliance standards and for ensuring a positive end to end student experience.

• Excellent presentation skills, promotes quality learning outcomes through professional, engaging, and meaningful interactions with students
• Demonstrated current industry experience in a health or first aid environment
• Organised, with strong administration and time management skills
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential (including TAE01016 / TAELLN401A and TAEASS502 / TAEASS502A / TAEASS502B)

A current Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements for this role.

• Prior experience in delivering the specified accredited unit(s) or course(s) to a variety of clientele across a range of industries
• Demonstrated understanding of ASQA compliance requirements
• Relevant First Aid qualifications (HLTAD011 or higher desirable but not essential)

This role is covered by the Educational Services (Post-Secondary education) Award, level 9. Salary from $70.04, including casual loading, superannuation and access to salary packaging.
