Gwelup Medical Centre is seeking a bubbly, enthusiastic, experienced medical receptionist who will be the perfect fit for our family‐friendly team.
The Medical Receptionist role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients
* Handling a variety of patient phone call enquiries
* Booking appointments and entering patient data
* Generating invoices and receiving payments
* Processing Medicare claims
* Handling incoming mail and preparing mail to send
* Maintaining doctor's bookings and schedules
* Being responsive to other team member requests
* Taking all doctor requests in a timely manner
* Other ad‐hoc administration as required
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar medical administrative role
* Ability to work in a team
* Best Practice Software experience beneficial but not essential
* Excellent computer abilities, including Microsoft Office
* Exceptional phone manner
* Ability to multitask and prioritize at all times

Job Type: Part time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 7.00pm, minimum 15 hours per week
Experience Preferred: Medical admin 1 year
Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred)
