Main Responsibilities:

Ongoing Tasks:
* Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Assist senior accountants with on-the-job training and development.
* Review and sign off on workpapers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Client Management:
* Develop strong relationships with clients and their bookkeepers to provide excellent service.
* Provide written tax advice and review tax advice prepared by senior accountants to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Oversee client communications to ensure high professional standards are maintained.
Practice Development:
* Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing to enhance team performance.
* Maintain up-to-date team knowledge of tax legislation, standards, and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
Performance Management:
* Assist principals with performance reviews to ensure fair and accurate evaluations.
* Perform ongoing performance management of team members to identify areas for improvement.
Practice Management:
* Attend monthly key managers meeting to discuss strategic initiatives and goals.
* Assist with human resources, workflow, billings, and write-offs to ensure seamless operations.
