Service Advisor - Off Highway
Your New Opportunity:
Due to internal restructure, a fantastic full time, permanent role has come up for a Service Advisor to join our Off Highway Service team. You'll be based in our Hunter Valley Branch, working as a key liaison between our customers and our Service Technicians. You'll work with industry leading products such as MTU and Allison along with other brands and products The standard hours will be 10:30am - 6:30pm.
In this role you will:
* Have proactive communication with technicians and mine site customers daily - taking bookings, advising of progress and providing estimated finish times
* Provide accurate quotes to customers and provide timely follow up
* Process invoices upon completion of jobs
* Respond to phone queries in a fast, efficient manner
* Work with workshop staff to ensure Penske's top notch customer care standards are met and exceeded
* Keep an eye on technician workloads to ensure repair and service timeframes are met with productivity & efficiency targets being met
* Work in partnership with the Service Manager and Technicians to manage WIP (work in progress) to increase efficiencies
* Model safe working behaviour in line with Penske's values of Ownership, Passion, Teamwork, Integrity and Care
About you:
* Enjoy and have passion for providing service advice and solutions, delivering excellent customer service
* Previous Off-Highway Customer Service experience will be an advantage, but not essential.
* Having a mechanical trade background would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Prior knowledge of one or more of our products would help, but we provide fantastic training
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with a knack for building personal connections
* Above average computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Outlook and Excel.
* Previous mine site experience or exposure to the mining industry preferred
* Thorough attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
