Job Description
* We are seeking a talented Accounting Graduate to join our finance operations team.
* As an Accounting Graduate, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the Finance Team to ensure operational success and compliance of the Council's financial functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial accounting and reporting
* Budgeting and forecasts
* Finance administration
* Payroll services
* Treasury management
Requirements
* A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or similar (or near completion)
* Strong understanding of accounting principles
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); experience with financial software is an advantage
