Are you a skilled truck operator with a passion for civil construction and maintenance? Do you thrive in a team environment and take pride in delivering high-quality work? The City of Busselton is seeking an experienced Specialist Plant Operator to join our dynamic Construction Team.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be hands-on across a wide range of civil assets, including:
* Roads, footpaths, drainage, carparks, foreshore assets, and waste facilities
* Routine construction, reconstruction, and maintenance activities
You'll also:
* Primarily operate prime movers and six wheel trucks
* Operate a variety of plant and equipment depending on experience and operational needs (e.g. graders, loaders, rollers, chainsaws, commercial vehicles)
* Perform daily checks, cleaning, and secure storage of equipment
* Assist with planning, resource organisation, and team training
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
What we're looking for:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of civil construction and plant operation
* HC Class Driver's Licence
* Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control certification
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, safety-first attitude
Pre-employment Requirements:
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
* White Card
* Proof of right to work in Australia
